Hello Spring Creek families!

What an exciting week with some skiing starting, blue sky days, and lots of fun at the book fair! Teachers have been taking classes out on nature walks and very interesting field trips, including art gallery tours and more.

Please make sure you scroll through the app to see information on the Holiday Art Gala on December 14th! As well, let the school know if you can help volunteer at the Santa’s workshop, and preparations for it leading up to December 11-12. Ms. Smith has been busy getting us organized for that, along with student leaders and parent helpers who have offered to help. We appreciate all the help we can get for this special event.

It’s BRATZ BIZ weekend! November 26-27 at the Westin. See below for details!

December 6 is an early dismissal day, 11:45, for teacher collaboration.

Santa's Workshop

Please review the available slots below and click on the button to sign up to help run Santa's Workshop! Please note the sign-up is mainly for the time slot as the jobs may change with # of volunteers but we will do our best to accommodate your wish.  Please mention in the comments if you are available for only a portion of the time. The Donation Box will be out in front Lobby Monday morning.
I will make sure a box is in the Front Lobby by Monday morning and on Friday afternoon my class will organize the void space to be set up for success starting Monday.

BOOK FAIR - THANK YOU!!!!!!!!!

The fall Scholastic Book Fair is done! 

Thank you to parents, students, and staff for making the book fair a success. Stay tuned for how much we were able to raise for the school library.

Thank you to everyone who volunteered throughout the week and thank you to Lindsey Ataya and Sara Leach  who organized the book fair. Without everyone's help events like this would not be possible!!!

Be sure to check out the teacher wish lists as well, help add to the books that are available in each classroom.

PUBLIC PAC MEETING - THURSDAY NOVEMBER 30TH 8:45AM - 9:45AM - ROOM 169

The November public PAC meeting will be in person, please stop by after drop off to meet our executive team, hear all about PAC activities and what PAC is supporting at school this year.

SANTA’s WORKSHOP - MARK YOUR CALENDAR - TUESDAY DECEMBER 12TH

We are officially counting down the days until Santa’s Workshop!!!! 

As of Monday (November 27th) donation bins will be in the front lobby - we will be accepting gently used items for all ages (we especially need donations for teens and adults).

BC AGRICULTURE IN THE CLASSROOM - DELIVERY VOLUNTEERS NEEDED

SCCS and ELP receive a monthly delivery of fresh fruit or veggies and milk as part of the BC Agriculture in the Classroom program (you can find additional details here https://www.bcaitc.ca/).

If you have time to help with distributing the deliveries please sign up here:

The deliveries take approx. 30 mins to distribute and it is done during long recess.

The hot lunch Fall 2023/Winter 2024 session has officially begun. If you're still wanting hot lunch (or have a student requesting a second slice of pizza) cash sales are available.
