Red Dress Day 2026– Honouring Missing and Murdered Indigenous Women, Girls, and Two-Spirit People

May 5 is Red Dress Day, a National Day of Awareness and Action honouring Missing and Murdered Indigenous Women, Girls, and Two-Spirited People (MMIWG2S+). Originating from the REDress Project by Métis artist Jaime Black, this day is marked by red dresses displayed in public spaces and worn in solidarity. We invite our Sea to Sky community to reflect, remember, and stand in allyship. If you would like to learn more or find support resources, click on the headline.
