It’s almost time for school!! 🙂

 

Hello Spring Creek Families!  My name is Robin Kirk and I’m honoured and excited to be your new Principal.  I am especially looking forward to welcoming all your kids next week and hope to meet many parents throughout the year as well.

A big thank you to Nolan Cox for stepping in as Principal for the first half of 2025 and a special congratulations to Karen LaRochelle on her retirement!  

Below you’ll find some important information for the first week of school:

 

First Day of School 2025-2026

 

The first day back is Tuesday Sept 2nd for one hour only 8:30-9:30am for grades 1-7. Students will go to their classrooms from last year.

Kindergarten students will follow a different first week schedule outlined here

 

Remainder of the First week of school - Wed. Sept 3rd - Friday Sept 5th 

 

8:30-2:40 with previous year’s class grades 1-7.

  

New Students & Class Placement

 

Students who are NEW to the school will meet in the Library on the first day (Tuesday)  and will then be placed in a classroom with students of the same age as them for the remainder of the week. New class placement for all students (K-7) will be announced on Friday September 5th. 

 

Bus Registration

 

Families must register for use of the school bus each year. Information on how to register can be found on the school bus webpage. Early registration has closed, but you can still register your student by clicking on the black link halfway down the webpage. When it’s ready their bus pass will be sent to the school to be distributed to your student, rather than mailed to you directly. 

 

School Supplies

 

Teachers order school supplies for their classes. We ask that families pay the fee in early September by using SchoolCash Online, $45 for primary and $55 for intermediate. More info can be found here
