May 08 2025 - Spring Creek Communicator

Dear Spring Creek Families,

I hope everyone has had a wonderful week, albeit a short one. A friendly reminder that tomorrow is a Pro-D for teachers and school is not in session.

Next week we have our full day of Track and Field and the weather is supposed to go our way! This is a lead up to the District Track and Field event where the top 3 girls and 3 boys from each event will be invited to attend. As well, 1 relay team per grade will also be invited. Ideally, we want to send as many students as possible and if there are students who WANT to go but do not qualify, then they will still be invited to attend if bus allows space.

There will be Mr. Freeze(e) sales outside Ms. Gutri/Ms. Mardi's Room and students will be able to pick up their pre-purchased freezes throughout the day.  

On Tuesday, our K/1 classes will be “setting free” our baby Coho Salmon at Alice Lake. The students have witnessed the growth of these fry since January when they were just little orange balls in the tank.

On Thursday, we’ll have class and whole school photos taken in the morning.
