May 02 2025 - Spring Creek Communicator

Dear Spring Creek Families,

This week saw the Student Vote happen on Monday, as well as the Grade 7’s head over to WSS to get a look at their new and upcoming school. As well, Grades 4 and 7 students completed the Student Learning Survey. This is an annual survey that students, parents, and all staff in B.C. public schools are invited to participate in to share their overall school experiences. This data is then used to help shape district and school direction in the coming years. A huge Thanks to all who participated.

Yesterday we had Braden Hallett, Author/Illustrator, present to our Grade 2-4 students. An enormous shout out to Braden and Ms. Leach for this fantastic opportunity.

Next Wednesday are our Grade 6 immunizations and on Thursday from 4:00 pm – 5:00 pm is the Kindergarten Connections meeting for newly arriving Kindergarten students.

We are just over a week away from our annual Track and Field event - May 13th! We want to thank all the parent volunteers who have signed up to help us make the day successful! Following the school event, our top 3 athletes from each event will be invited to the Don Ross Middle School for the District Wide Track & Field event. This event will run on May 21st (weather permitting) and for the first time will be a full day event from 9am until 3:30pm! We are excited for a fun filled day of Track and Field here at Spring Creek on May 13th and look forward to inviting qualifying students to the districts. Go Bears Go!
