Good Afternoon Spring Creek Families,

 

WOW! These past few days have been amazing, and the sunshine has done wonders to boost the energy of staff and students.

 

I wanted to extend my thanks to Mr. Blaikie for stepping in to cover my absence. This time of the year is incredibly busy for him, including finalizing timetables, supporting students and staff at WSS, and coordinating major events like grad. His support at SCE speaks volumes about his leadership and commitment and we appreciate that things continued to run smoothly and efficiently. THANKS MR. BLAIKIE!

This week was packed with events including a visit from the WSS Grade 11/12s on Monday to speak with the Grade 7s about “life in high school”.

Then on Tuesday, we had Ms. Smith’s class visit the Meadow Park Sports Center for swimming and the Grade 4-5 Boys Basketball wind-up during long recess.

Thursday saw us “STOP…DROP…and COVER” as we held one of our Earthquake Drills. Then during long recess, the girls’ basketball had their season wind-up.

Here are a few things that are upcoming:

• No School Friday April 18^th and Monday April 21^st – Easter Weekend
• Tuesday April 22^nd – Ms. Smith’s class at Meadow Park for swimming
• Thursday April 24^th – Bear Aware Presentations with Michael Allen
• Friday April 25^th – PITCH IN DAY!
