Dear Spring Creek Families,

Hoping everyone had a great week as we inch closer to Spring Break.

Tuesday saw the Bears lose to MPE by a margin of three points. The hard work is paying off as this was a close “back and forth” that had the MPE team on their heels for most of the game. Well Done, Bears! We’ll get ‘em next time!

Pink Shirt Day was amazing as staff and students donned their pink attire and celebrated unity against bullying. Our assembly had student present their mini films to the school, where their creative talents were showcased for all to enjoy.

A friendly reminder that next Tuesday and Wednesday are Parent-Teacher conferences. Your child(ren)’s teacher will have reached out with details specific to the format of their class. Please note early dismissal times are at 1:10 pm for both days.

Lastly, Division 4 (Ms. Smith’s class) will be hosting a Sales Day on March 13th to showcase their learning from the Business of Our Own Program! The grade 6/7 students will be selling a range of items they have made themselves including baked goods and mystery boxes filled with handmade creations. All items for sale will range from $2 to $10 and students will find posters around the school to learn more about the products.

All funds raised through the Sales Day will be helping Division 4 towards their year-end trip to Millard Learning. Division 4 is thankful in advance to all Spring Creek Bears for supporting their learning and their sales day!
