We were so excited to have DJ IRA lead us in a dance party today in celebration of all the Bear Paws students have earned so far. Thank you IRA, for always bringing the magic and creating the fun! Thank you students for showing what it is to be a Spring Creek Bear: kind, inclusive, safe and engaged! See photos below.

Thank you Pamoja group, Ms. Young and Ms. Vicki Swan, for the fun soccer games in the gym at lunch this week! Pamoja has been raising funds to support students in Africa. The Pamoja group shares out their learning of how life is in Kenya compared to here. We all enjoy a good soccer game!

We are now announcing Santa’s Workshop, which is fast approaching! See important information here:

Donations
From November 25th until December 10th we will be seeking donations of new or gently used items for our workshop. There will be a box just inside the front entrance of the school and it will be open for donations during school hours. Please ensure all donations are in good working order (puzzles have all the pieces, games have all the parts, nothing is broken) and are something you would like to receive. Also keep in mind donations for teens and adults (students are very excited about the opportunity to purchase a gift for their parents!).

Reusable Bags
Thank You to Laura Cofell and Ms. Palmer who are helping our students create reusable bags for Santa’s Workshop this year. They hope to cut down on waste within the wrapping station and have a reusable option for years to come! Students will be bringing home some of their items in these bags and we ask that after the holidays that they are returned to be able to be reused year after year. We will have a bin in the front entry of the school to return the bags in early January.

Parent Volunteers
To make Santa’s Workshop possible we require parent volunteers! If you are available either December 11th or December 12th please sign up via the link below! Thank you in advance for helping to make the event possible 😊

SANTA'S WORKSHOP - REUSABLE BAG PROJECT

Can you sew? Do you have a sewing machine? Could you spare a bit of time? Then we need your help!

As part of Santa's Workshop this year we are looking to utilize reusable wrapping options as much as possible! Lots of material has been donated but we need help turning this material into bags!
