Oct 11, 2024 - Spring Creek Communicator
October 11, 2024 Spring Creek Communicator and PAC Corner
Thank you families, for attending student goal-setting conferences. We have hit our stride for the term and see lots of great learning going on here. We are so proud of all the students showing up and doing their best!
Congratulations to students earning lots of “Bear Paws” for their efforts in being kind, safe and inclusive at Spring Creek. Good work Bears! We are also focusing efforts on safe behaviour on the school buses. The drivers and I are collaborating on leading the students in a good way in order to ensure their safety on the buses. Please help remind your child that sitting safely, sharing seats appropriately, and following the guidance of the driver is of utmost importance. Riding the school bus is a privilege we enjoy at Spring Creek and we care about student safety. Your help is greatly appreciated.
Athletics: This week our Bears went to Nairn Falls to race against all other Cross Country athletes in the district. It was a beautiful afternoon racing around the campground and on the sea to sky trail. We had a number of top 7 finishes and fantastic running by all our athletes! The Bears who raced this week included: Ella, Bella, Harvey, Kylie, Maja, Addy, Helena, Jet, Noah, Abby, Lila and Annika. Thank you to the parents and grandparents who came out to cheer! We look forward to our next race this coming Tuesday in Squamish!
Our volleyball team is also starting practice this week, if any grade 6/7 students are interested please see Ms. Elizabeth to join!
